What is Distracting You?

Turn it off. Whatever is distracting you from Me needs to be removed.  It may be your television, radio, Ipod, or it may even be a person, but if something or someone is keeping you from concentrating on Me like you need to, you must avoid that distraction. In some cases you just need to temporarily remove it and in other cases you need to permanently remove it from your life. Some of the things that take your attention away from Me are not bad things – some of them may actually be good. The problem is they are not the best. Good things really can be some of the most dangerous things in your life because you will be tempted to settle for good and never experience the best I have for you. So turn off whatever you need to turn off and spend time with Me. Let’s go on a walk together. Sing to Me. Listen to Me. Share your heart with Me. Simply, be with Me.
